Filey Caravan Holidays
Filey may only be a small town and certainly doesn’t have the same buzz as the nearby all action resorts of Scarborough and Bridlington but that in itself is part of the charm of Filey and is what attractions visitors to the town and surrounding holiday parks.
Filey itself comprises of 2 separate areas, the town and the seafront. Both are separated by a cliff although there is good access by road and for those on foot.
The town sits at the top of the cliff and offers a good choice of local shops and services including a bank, police station, snooker hall and a trains station offering services to both Bridlington and Scarborough and onto Hull.
There is also a decent links golf course in the town which offers great views out to see and is a good challenge for both low handicappers and those who just enjoy the fun of a round of golf.
The cliff top features beautiful gardens and a maze and great views out to sea and of the iconic Filey Brigg which is well worth a walk along, but remember to check tide times as the Brigg is covered when the tide comes in.
The sea front features a bar/restaurant, an arcade, crazy golf and a long promenade that is ideal for a relaxing stroll before or after spending time on the wide sandy beach that stretches from Filey down the coast and past all 3 of the caravans in the area.
